I have a Memorex double layer 16X burner, and using Roxio Easy Media Creator 8 to make movies and slide shows.
Sometimes the program will burn, and somtimes with the same methodes, the error message is, it faild to download
some of the perameters (?) The disc I am using has capacity of 4+ MG, the file was less than 3 MG. The file that burned
was 1.27 MG, but I did not like the aspect ratio (16+) so I went back and tried to change it to the normal aspect ratio,
however when I did change it, it went through all the motions, but comes up with the error message. Is there a limit
to the project size ?

What program from the EMC 8 suite are you using to burn your DVD? How did you create the video and/or slideshows?
File size mean snothing when burning video DVDS - its the time length of the video that is important. A standard 4.7GB DVD will hold 60 minutes of video at best quality. Any longer and the video has to be compressed even more and you will lose quality. (BTW, I assume you mean GB instead of MG)

What make of DVD media are you using? Verbatime is among the best - Maxell, Memorex and store brands are among the worst.

Yes it was GB, however I opened EMC 8, clicked on slide show, added photos, added audio, went to next, set up all the perameters and the background window,
the clicked on burn DVD. It went through all the motions (about tweenty minutes) and then comes up with the erroe message. I find it hard to believe it's the disc as it will burn for the most part, a small file.
I have had a lot of trouble with this program in the past, just rebooting my computer for no a apparent reason. Normally I use Nero, but it's limit is 99 photos.
