Hey Fellas,
My apologies in advance if this is not the right forum. But a couple years ago you all helped me with various questions on EMC 8 (installation, issues, etc.), but I am seriously considering purchasing Roxio's Easy VHS to DVD software. EMC 8 has worked wonders for me, however, I find myself in need of Easy VHS to DVD's hardware to record Hi8 and VHS movies to DVD.
In your opinion, will I need to uninstall EMC 8 if I purchase the new software?
Best regards and thank you in advance for your assistance

I personally have only used VHS to DVD once with success but on an XP system with no other Roxio/Sonic software installed. I can say that it will not work with Creator 2009 or EMC10 though I am not sure about EMC8 and 9. I've not had EMC8 installed in a long while. It is likely that you may have to uninstall v8 to get VHS to DVD to work. In my case, I have a few different OS's installed so going from 1 to another to use certain programs is nothing more than a minor hassle. If you have an option to dual boot with more than 1 OS installed, that's one thing you can try assuming you will still want/need EMC 8 as well.
For me, C2009 does everything I need including capturing VHS. Wish I could be of more help.

Absolutely Not!
I have V2D installed on a PC with V6, V7 & V10 without problems. While not specifically V8, V2D will not conflict with any software except Creator 2009.
