Don't use a R/W disc. Use a CD-R disc. They cost about $0.10 apiece, now, so if you create a coaster, just grab another one, off of the spindle.
Thanks Jim.
That would be one way to solve it. Unfortunately I would end up with a pile of discs used only 5% of their space on each!
Thanks for try to help me. I DO appreciate it. Vladimir.

If you dont see the same help section that Jim's picture shows then you dont have the FULL retail version of EMC 10 (it is the same in XP or Vista).
It sounds like you have a OEM version (it came with your computer). OEM versions dont come with the Creator Classic application which Jim is talking about and what his picture is showing (top left on the picture in post #5).
The OEM should still do what you are trying to do.
Have you tried using the built in burning capabilities built into Vista?.
Hi dear fellow Ontarians.
I found what Jim suggested. I have a full version of Vista Home Premium 64 bits. Yes it came with a computer. That is not a point I am trying to make - I dont want to ERASE what is on disc and RERECORDED again!
I just want to add to the existing pictures on a disc. Something, what could be done with ease on XP system.
I don't know what you mean by " burning capabilities" of Vista?

Hi Vladimir,
Here's what I have in the Roxio Help Center in
VISTAClick to view attachmentFrom the Home application, click on "Burn Data Disc - Advanced" That will load Creator Classic, if you have it.
Then click Help on the Creator Classic top toolbar
Clock on the "Creator Classic Help Center" option > Working with Data Discs > Adding data to an appendable disc and you should see what we see.
Hi Brendon.
Yes I found it, but it is not the answer I am looking for. I don't want to erase and rerecord again in order to add pictures. Every time it is done the quality of a first pictures suffer!
My solution ? I let in a store fixed my old computer with XP system ( now I have 2 computers) and it does it the "old" way". No erase!!
Thanks for help. Vladimir.
