I have not previously had trouble now I do. I start to burn an audio cd, it uploads fine, I put in a blank cd and it copies until the last 6 seconds. It says program must close and it does and I can not get the cd out until I re boot my computer then I get it out . It has burned all of the cd but it has melded the last 2 or 3 cuts into one. I have written to roxio for help, I did the update firmware, px engine, install uninstall etc. no change. I even uninstalled the version that came with my computer, bought a new one , installed it and the same thing happens. They have sent me all kinds of instructions to go into regedit and remove this and that but why should I have to muck around with my computer so much when it was working. if I do all this and it disturbs something else then I am up a creek without a paddle. I hesitate to do radical work on my computer. any advice.?? I have an HP computer and I run vista.

How much music (time) are you trying to put on an Audio CD?

I would advise you to do what "they" suggested, since they are the experts. There's no point in consulting support staff unless you are going to do what they say.

You don't have to "muck around" with your computer but that's probably the only way you're going to get it working again.
