I have converted several hours worth of video footage, using Easy VHS to DVD
however I cannot import it in to iMovie, the file is grayed out. why is this? I thought this product was compatible with iMovie.
Can anyone suggest a fix for this issue?
whoops, after reading the form i see others have the same issue, any word on a fix yet?

The Easy VHS to DVD version 1.0.2 released this Saturday, I guess (June 13), worked fine transferring the captured video to iMovie (08'). iMovie had no problem recognizing the file, and it could finally be edited.
It didn't work for iMovieHD. I captured 2 hours of video last night. I started the export process this morning before going to work. When I got home this evening, the Easy VHS to DVD told me it couldn't find the iMovie app. I went to the Movie folder, found the converted file (no frame drops!), and iMovie wouldn't accept it. I got QuickTime error -2048.
I'm supposed to be reviewing this product for a major website and have had nothing but bad luck thusfar. The 1.0.1 and 1.0.2 updates didn't fix the problem. The dropped frames were so bad on my G5 tower that what should have been a 5.4 GB file was around 600 MB! At least I got a clean transfer with my 2 GHz Core2Duo MacBook.

I believe that only iMovie from iLife 08 and 09 are supported for the export to iMovie function. Does your G5 tower have dual processors? Maybe Roxio needs to modify the minimum system requirements to dual-core Intel Macs only.
