Ok. I loaded Roxio onto my brand new computer *(running Vista), as soon as I did, my coimputer stopped recognizing my E drive. Is there a patch/fix for this or am I out of luck. I can't see purchasing a newer version since my older one works fine (well was working fine) and I really don't have the money to replace a program I already bought..

Any hints / fixes / help is greatly appreciated.

Since you noted an "8.2" version in your topic, this has been moved to the correct forum, since it has nothing to do with 'Venue' or Qflix'.

None of the version 8 products are compatible with Vista. That could be part of the issue, or it could be because it's an OEM version.

Did you purchase that v8.2 or did it come with some hardware? The only 8.2 I recall seeing was one included with a Maddog burner.

Does the Roxio program open? If so, please open one of teh apps (Creator Classic, MyDVD, Videowave) and go into Help -> About and post the version information it shows. this may help sort out the exact version you have.

As mentioned, v8.2 as far as we know was only an OEM that came with hardware. Did you get it off a site like Ebay by chance?

When you state that your "computer stopped recognizing my E: drive", is that a hard disk or an optical disc drive?

Does the drive only not show up using apps in Roxio?

Does it show and work in windows Explorer?
