I burned a DVD of my home town parade but the volume is very low, how can I reburn the DVD and increase the volume?
I have Creator 9 and am running Windows XP Pro.

Thanks

Do you have the original movie file? If so, open VideoWave, bring in the video, right click on it on whatever view you have set up in the Production Editor screen, click on Edit, then on Native Audio, and you will see an Overall Volume meter. Click on the + to increase the volume, then click on OK to get out of that screen.

Click on the Play arrow in the Preview screen, and see if it is loud enough now. You may have to repeat this procedure to get the desired volume level. Once you are done, you can take the production to MyDVD for authoring and burning.

Inanswer to your question I do not have the original movie file. Should a make a file copy on my hard drive and then follow your instructions?

Yes, it works a little faster if you copy the VIDEO_TS folder to your HDD.

Then VideoWave can Add Movie allowing you to pick any file in that folder and it will import.

You can then increase the volume as gpb outlined. Keep in mind it can only increase what it there… Just like a dark picture, if you lighten Black it is still Black because nothing is there laugh.gif

But you won't know until you try.
