Several months ago, I asked why the DVD I burned would play on my computer but not on my DVD player. I was told several things, including using different brands of recording medium by someone who obviously has stock in Verbatim discs. I have finally found out by trial and error that if I looked at the project settings I would have found that they were set to record in PAL format and not NTSC. I have since reburned the project and everything works just fine. Thought I would mention this as one more thing to check if you are having problems such as this.

Most folks here, recommend Verbatim, because it is the "tried and true" medium to use, and not because the person has stock in Verbatim discs.

Anyway, it is good to hear that your problem was user error, and not your media.

Although I don't have stock in the company, I recommend Taiyo Yuden.

BTW, I don't have stock in Roxio either and I still recommend it ! tongue.gif

Most people would not make that mistake… laugh.gif

And I looked at the thread you mentioned – 19 replies to your problem with not being able to burn a disc – only to end when you realized the disc you were using wasn’t blank!!! huh.gif
