I don't know much about enhanced audio CDs but I'll make a couple guesses. You can have Toast convert (export) the tracks to AIFF and use the AIFF versions. Maybe that will change the result. The first track has to have a 2-second gap but that precedes the start of the track. Make sure you a burning Disc at once and not track at once. I believe that's in the Recorder settings window. If you have an older optical drive it may not support burning disc at once.
Something you can test is choose Save as Disc Image from the File menu. This should result in a .sd2f file. If you play that file with QuickTime Player it will be one continuous track so you can preview if the gap is present. If there is no gap then the problem is the disc is burning in track-at-once mode.
Thanks for the reply. When I go to burn the cd, them problem happens when roxio starts converting the files to AIFF so maybe that's what's wrong. By you suggesting that it might fix the problem if I get Roxio to convert them to AIFF I'm assuming that means this is an optional process. So is there an option for me to have Roxio NOT convert the files to AIFF? If so, where to I find this and what affect will this have on the final product? I made sure that I'm burning in DAO mode too. I'll also try saving the image and testing with QT. Thanks for you help.
