I routinely back up to an external hard drive. While backing up My Documents, one or more dialog boxes will appear from Roxio relating to 'confirmation of stream loss'. This is irritating, because it means that I cannot leave the backup process unattended, as the process stops when the dialogue box appears. I am not concerned about the 'stream loss' in terms of backing up data.

Did anyone have any idea how I can disable these 'stream loss' warnings?

Many thanks Brendon. Even though the article refers to EMC 8 and I am using EMC10 it seems likely that the suggested method for cancelling the error message will still apply. Haven't tried it yet, but will do soon.
