I was experiencing some problems, so I uninstalled EMC 9.
When I tried to reinstall, I got a "there is not enough room on drive c:/ to install" message, even though I have over 800GB free on the drive.
I have taken care to remove all traces of Roxio and Sonic from the drive and from the registry.

If I can't get help here, I am out of options. Help! (Please ohmy.gif )

What size was that hard drive to begin with? Some people have seen problems installing the programs to 1T and above. Do you have your drive partitioned and, forgive me for asking, how much room do you have on your system partition?

Thanks for the reply.
Originally, I had a 250 GB drive. I added a 500 GB (D:\) drive for data, and when the old 250 GB (C:\) began to show errors (when it was about 3 years old), I replaced it with a 1 TB drive (now the C:\ drive).
I didn't partition the 1 TB disk as all my data is on the 500 GB disk.
If there's an issue installing to 1 TB drives, is there a way to force the install to my 500 GB (D:\) drive?

I don't remember if there was a cure other than to partition the drive. I can't find the post but perhaps you can with a search of these forums.

I thought it was drives over 1TB, that had the problem...

When you install EMC 9 change the installation directory (folder location) to your "500 GB (D:\) drive". It will still install 300 + mb on the C: drive and with the 1TB drive it might not work!
