Full Version: Scene detect produces blank frames

I have Videowave Movie Creator from Dell. It worked fine a few weeks ago. Now when I do scene detect, after the first few scenes, the frames are gray-blank. If I click on them, I DO get the scene. I have already uninstalled and reinstalled. I do have a new anti spam program. Could that be the problem?

It could be almost anything including a Windows Update.

Have you tried going to the Tools\ Options \File Control and deleting the 'preview' files? It might be looking at the wrong preview file. (I'm not at the computer with that program installed, so it might be options\tools.)

If that doesn't work, I'd try defragmenting the hard drive.

If it's a new program or update that has 'broken' it, you might never find the cause. Unfortunately, this program has been out for quite some time and it's not being supported like version 8.

Thanks. I tried that and it did not work. I am going to update.
