I've got Roxio Creator DE 9 Build 9.0.117
I need to copy an .iso image to CD and have the CD be bootable.
When I create the CD and try to boot from it, I get "NTLDR missing". I know that's a Windows thing (running XP Pro SP3) but was there some button I should have pressed to make sure this gets on the CD? Yes, I pressed the "make bootable" button. Been searching and searching for the answer....
How do I fix this?
thanks.

Making a cd (or DVD) bootable means it's has some form of an OS on it to load the contents into.Whether that be DOS,PC-DOS,XP or whatever.
If the image was bootable in the first place then it would have been included in the image.
When you try and make a bootable cd using Roxio you need to provide the system files that allows the disc to be made bootable.
You should get a choice of using an already bootable floppy or a hard disc image to get them from.
You will see that message if there is no boot info on the disc.
