The instruction at "0x00460020" referenced memory at "0x09e047c8. The memory could
not be "read". Click on OK to terminate program

Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library
Program: ...ommon files\Sonic Shared\Sonic Central\Main\Mediahub.exe

If the drive is not found in my computer, then the BIOS are not recognizing it. Have the same problem. Loose wire. Turn off the computer. Open the copmputer and make sure the connections to the DVD drive are plugged in tightly. restart the computer. If this doesn't work, you probably have a bad drive.

As noted by fred58, if Windows isn't detecting the drive, you have a hardware problem. Bad connection or bad drive.

For the "Mediahub" error in the software, see the following KB article on that (probably an issue with having WMP 11 installed).

I had same problem. I don't know what caused it but if bios recognizes and device manager sees it with yellow enclosed ! then what you need to do is uninstall the drive in device manager and the high and low filters have to be removed from HKEY_Local _Machine\system\current control set\control\class (select 4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318) then (select upper filter and right click and select delete) then (select low filter right click and delete) Then close regedit and restart computer. This will fix the computer recognition problem but will not resolve the problem with sonic digital media Plus V7 recognition. That is why I am here trying to figure out how to get my software to see my hardware. Before you do this be sure to make a backup copy of your registry.
