I cannot get Roxio Toast Titanium v5.2 to write the CD Title and the Track Titles to an audio CD. It burns the the audio files, but leaves the CD name as Title and the track names as track titles as 1 Audio Track, 2 Audio Track,...etc. How do I get Roxio to write out the CD title and correct track names.

The audio CD format always has generic title and track names. The names you see when it is not generic come from the computer's cdinfo database file. When an audio CD is inserted for the first time the Mac OS via iTunes will search the online CDDB database file looking for a match that has the same number of tracks and track lengths. If a match is found that info is downloaded to the cdinfo database file and appears on your computer. If no match is found you have the generic names unless you manually enter names using iTunes.

I believe Toast 5.2 has the ability to write CD Text to an audio CD. This is a database file written to the disc that can be read by certain home and car CD players that have the ability to read CD Text. Your Mac doesn't read CD Text, however. There is an applescript at dougscipts.com call CD Text to cdinfo that can automatically transfer CD Text information to the cdinfo database file within iTunes.
