Ok here is my problem, I have a excel sheet with some macro. The macro works this way when I want to log in the db I have to press CTRL + i. But as soon as I do that the Windows Installer for Roxio start. When it reaches the end of the installation the system ask to reboot but excel won't shutdown so the installation start again.. It a never ending loop, even if I force a restart of the system at the end of the installation I still have the same problem.

Windows XP SP3
Office 2000, I know it's old..

It appears that the installation of the Roxio product that you own is broken or corrupted which the Windows installer is trying to repair it. I suggest you follow a clean install for the product to overcome this issue.

There's something nagging in the back of my mind from a long time back about a problem with Office (can''t recall which version but the 'cure' was to re-install Office)

Office 2007 comes to mind.
