I recently did an install of my new Roxio 2009 software and after completing the install I clicked on my new Roxio Icon and was informed the install had caused a problem and must shut down. After 8 uninstalls and installs I was ready to pull out my hair. In between cursing, trying to slit my wrists, slinging snot and punching holes into my dry wall...I had a major brain fart.

Why not delete the desk top Roxio icon then go to "Start Button" select "All Programs" Go to the Roxio entry and see if it opens from there. I selected an application item from the list and clicked it....whaaaLaaah it opened, did another application and it opened, I did them all and they all opened. So I thought should I dare click the Roxio Icon also listed their and see if it opens......I did it and Holly Molly, ShaZaaaam, Bingo and Zaaaaparooooo....It opened.

I made a shortcut of the Star 2009 Roxio Icon to my desktop and it also worked.... I'll be completing my anger managment counseling next week and I am looking forward to many days, weeks and years of enjoyment with my new Roxio software. END OF NIGHTMARE
