Is it possible to disable caching when using Video Copy & Convert? I recently upgraded from EMC 7.5 and was able to disable caching when coping a DVD which allowed me to copy an entire home DVD (1hr 45min movie) in approx 15 min. Now, it seems I'm forced to cache (approx 15 min) then burn (approx 15 min). I'm using a Q6600 with 8g ram on Win7 along with the most recent updates (including SP4 for Creator 2009). It's a dual boot set up with XP Pro as my other OS (that is were EMC 7.5 is running). Also, when caching I'm only utilizing <5% of my CPU power and when burning I'm only utilizing <10% of my CPU power. Both are about the same for EMC 7.5 and Creator 2009. I thought Creator 2009 was supposed to be faster? It's definately faster when converting video files, but not for coping/burning. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance!

A lot of people liked Disc Copier over VCC… Personally I think they made it even worse in 2010…
I don’t know when they dropped that option – it’s not found in EMC 9 but I don’t have EMC 8 installed anywhere…
If you think it is really important to you browse around for other copiers.

That's what I was afraid of! Thanks for the help. UPDATE: total time start to finish - Creator 2009 36 min / EMC 7.5 17 min. Big time bummer!

That might mean something if you added the size of the project – media – read & write rates etc.
