I just upgraded to Creator 2010 from 2009. I am trying to create a DVD from some video files on my computer. I opened up Copy & Convert, selected Convert, selected DVD, and added video clips. I did this two different times, once with TV shows pulled from my Tivo, and a second time with home videos pulled from my camcorder. I selected save file to disc/disc image (the only option I had). Both times the clips loaded and were converted to an ISO image. However, The program did not automatically burn to the disc, even though a new disc was in hte burner. After the program was finished (and nothing was on the DVD), I used the burn disc image utility to burn the image onto the DVD. This seemed to do something because it showed the burning progress, but I cannot find anything on the disc when the program was finished.


I am thinking I must be missing something simple. Any help would be appreciated.

Sounds like to me that you're mixing 2 parts of the VC&C program. One side converts video to many formats and saves the file to your hard drive. The other side, 'DVD' copies 1 dvd to another or dvd to an image or the image you created from your conversion to the dvd.
In other words, for what you are trying to do, you should convert first then use the DVD side to burn the resulting image or video folder to disc.
At least, that's the way I see it.

Either way, the converted ISO file from the hard drive should burn to a DVD and be there and I am not able to get there. I have also tried to load these in load disc image utility, and they will not load.

The fact that you can't load it to the virtual drive seems to indicate that there is something wrong with the iso file.
Why not try myDVD to create the iso file or a Video_TS folder set.
