I just purchased a new computer which has vista 64 bit. I want to upgrade and download Creator 2010. Do I have to have my Creator 2009 installed on the new computer first or can I just enter the serial number from the Creator 2009 sometime during the installation.

If you are referring to the Upgrade priced version of Creator 2010, it is a FULL Version so you will not have to install your old one or even worry about keeping the old one…

The only time you need the “proof” is when you fill out the info for purchase.

This is the 2010 upgrade that cost 59.00 to download. I really don't want to put the creator 2009 in this computer if it is not necessary

If you don't have it already on your computer then you won't get it as part of the package. What you download will be the entire Creator 2010 with nothing from Creator 2009.

The discount is Roxio's way of thanking you for being a past customer.
