I decided to update to Snow Leopard in the hopes of solving some OS issues and broke my TivoToGo playback with Toast 8. Since the only thing I do is transfer and watch Tivo recorded programs on my Mac, I purchased Popcorn3 since it will accept the Tivo Transfer Beta2.

Everything works great, except I don' have any audio playback. My support requests have indicated ongoing compatibility issues, but nothing convincing me that they are looking at this particular problem.

Has anyone else encountered this audio issue? Have you discovered a way to fix it?

The only time I had an issue with the audio track not being there along with the audio -- was when I was using one of the DVD Recorder with TiVo boxes which were branded by Humax, Pioneer, or Toshiba. I don't think it was a Roxio issue either. I had to install the codec for the slightly different audio encoding that comes from these boxes -- it was something called ac3filter I think

What type of file are you trying to playback? Is it a .tivo file that you're trying to play using the Toast Media Player or is it a converted file that you're trying to play with something like the QuickTime player? And what type of TiVo do you have?

I am using the Toast Media Player for playing back .Tivo files that I've transfered from a Series 2 Tivo.

I'm still checking the Roxio site regularly to see if we get a new Beta for Tivo Transfers. The last update is 9/16/2009.

The transfer works fine so the audio problem doesn't make much sense to me.
