When I go to burn to Disk (Drive A: or B:) what Roxio finds is Optiarc DVDRW DL (C:) and is my only choice in the pull down menu. C: is my main drive so what gives? How do I point it to the right drive? I have gone in to disk manager to make sure it sees it as A and B and all is good.
Brendon
By convention in Windows systems drive letters A: and B: are always reserved for floppy drives.

Unless you have more than one burner, your Creator 2010 is finding and identifying your Optiarc DVDRW DL as the burner, and that is how it should be.

I don't know why any burner should be named A: or B: but it confuses us humans and I wouldn't be surprised if it is confusing Windows too. Changing your disk lettering back to standard should help solve the confusion.

Thanks Brendon, I labeled them A and B just so that I could remember order of my drives (top a bottom B ) and then my internal HD C. I will go change those and see it that helps.

I be dang that was it, trying the first burn and see how it goes. Thanks a ton.

Excellent! I usually assign my burners X: and Y: - that way they're always the same no matter how many temporary or USB drives I might have on the system.
