Hello,
I'm going to be upgrading to Windows 7, and would like to know if anyone using EMC 10 has done this, and what (if any) problems did they have.
Thanks,
Dennis

Roxio Easy Media Creator 10 "EMC 10" is three versions back, then Creator 2009 (C2009) and in August this year Creator 2010 (C2010) came out...
I really don't know, someone would have to try it and see. That's the problem with a new OS, most times it requires new software ($) to go along with it!

Thanks for getting back to me. I guess I'll just have to try it and see how it goes!
Appreciate your feedback!

Hi, IT doesn't work in Windows 7. When you run the Windows 7 upgrade advisor it tells you to upgrade to Roxio Creaator 2010. I had the windows 7(build 7100 and build 7600)and in both versions Easy media creator 10 did not install corectly or run.

Click to view attachmentHow can customers get copies of the
UPDATED software, in the bottom list. I have several of those and would dearly love the updates now I have Windows 7, but all the KB article suggests is that I
UPGRADE to the very latest.
What is the point of UPDATING the software if the updates aren't being made available ?

Maybe terminology issue?
It could be the current version of the software is now Win7 compatible (updated to be one) and that this version is available as an upgrade version?

No, Roxio are and have always been very clear about the difference between UPDATES [free to registered members] and UPGRADES [you pay $$]. If it was a terminology issue, current users would have to go out and buy the software again to get the updates.
So where are the UPDATES for the seven suites in the lower part of the list, which Roxio says have been UPDATED to be Windows 7 compatible? [the capitals in UPDATED are theirs, that's a screenshot of the list]

Another thing that isn't clear on either of the lists (compatible or updated) is they don't say if it's win 7 32bit or 64 bit. A couple of the programs that are not on the compatible list actually do work with win 7 if running 32 bit as opposed to 64 bit.

I think that some more statements should be added to that KB article on how to get the update (or provide a link to the updates) or when will they become available.
