I have an Intel Pentium® Dual Core processor (2.8 GHz, 2.8 GHz) 1.0 GB total physical memory.

Would I be capable of video editing, with the following system requirements for Creator 2010 for video editing and conversion and DVD playback:

Intel Pentium 4 2GHz processor or AMD equivalent and 1GB RAM. Multi-core processor with at least 2GB RAM recommended

(This reads a Pentium 4 with 2GHz, not a Pentium 4.2GHz, right?)

Also in question is my video card compatiblity...

Is there any chance of getting video editing done if I purchase Creator 2010 or should I not consider the purchase?

The Intel 82945G graphics chip should work fine in software render mode. The 3D transitions and effects will not be available. 1GB of memory should be fine, too, but if you are running Vista, more RAM would be recommended.

You don’t have a video card…

It may run on that but you will probably see some glitches like random slides (still pics) that turn up black.

I ran into this with my Dell 530 in Creator 2009 and had to add a video card.

You can Buy & Try for 30 days, if you purchase through the Roxio Store… Retail purchases are between you and the store.

Well, I finally downloaded Creator 2010, but I'm getting an

"ERROR: unable to load skin" message when clicking on either "Create DVD's" or "Edit Video - Advanced"

I am running Vista. Guess I should shop for a video card first.

Any recommendations?

Language can be an issue… Here???

Vista and the language of all of my applications are in English. Would there still be an issue?

I also tried installing as a new user with full administrative privileges as indicated in another post... no help, same problems.

When attempting to do a repair, the error message is "Roxio Burn Manager: the feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable"... ..."enter an alternate path to a folder containing the installation package 'BurnMgr.MSI' "

When I do a search for BurnMgr.MSI nothing is found and the...

C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Temp\WZSE1.TMP\BURNMANAGER12\

...path Roxio is seeking, does not exist beyond WZSE1.TMP which is an empty folder.

I also tried installing the SP1 patch to no avail.

I've spent a couple of days on this and am about to give up and get back to what I actually get paid for!

The "Language for non-Unicode programs" is already set to English (United States) the same language as Vista and the Creator 2010 installation.
