Hello,

I am encountering an error message when trying to burn a MyDVD9 project with videos and pics to a disc. I am running EMC9. The message states that I have menu buttons that are overlapping. I searched on this site for ways to correct this problem, but did not find any solution. I am under the gun for completing this project as it is for a suprise for my wife.

How can I correct this problem, and also, how can I link videos to an unlinked button?

Thanks,

Aaron

If you have more than one button or text, serving as a button, highlight each one, and make sure that the rectangular area does not overlap the rectangular area of another button/text. If it does, grab it, and move it just enough, so it isn't touching the rectangle of the other button/text.

This should clear up your problem. I have had to do this myself, with chapter names.

Come back, and let us know if that works for you.

Thanks for your advice this does seems to be my problem. But could you tell me how to fine adjust the position of these buttons only when I click on the rectangle and drag them to move them
it appears to only move in large jumps which leaves them a larger distances apart than I really want. I hope you can appreciate what I am trying to say. Thanks again.

I don't know why that would happen. If you have the Snap to Grid engaged, it will jump some. See if you have that on, and if you do, click on the icon to disengage it. The button (icon) is to the right of the Safe Zone button/icon.

You are welcome. I am glad that that resolved the issue.
