Hello, I'm new to the forum and new to the software. I'm running a gigabyte GA-785GMT-UD2H motherboard with on board ATI HD 4200 graphics. Currently I have my desktop resolution set to 1766x1000. I have an older 57 inch projection tv and this res is best for my needs.
My problem is when I try and run Capture Video, I get "the current display settings do not meet the minimum requirements of 1024x768". I even tried upping my res to 1920x1080 with the same result.
I can't find any options or settings in the software to change this. Please help.....

The settings are based on your desktop display settings. There are no controls, in the Roxio software, to change the resolution. Something doesn't seem right, for sure.
What does the 57" projection tv have to do with your situation?

Thanks for the reply. This is my HTPC I just build and it's hooked up via HDMI to my 57" tv. If I had this computer hooked up to a normal computer monitor with a normal resolution of say 1680x1050 I think somehow that I wouldn't be having this problem. When I try and choose resolutions while hooked up to the tv (which is 720p) the only choices I have are 1920x1080, which is to high) and then the goofy 1766x1000 I'm at now. Between that and the tv ??? I don't know.

I think while looking at help/about.... I saw sp1 was already there. I'll check again when I get home.
Yup, software is current. SP1 installed. Should I try reinstalling??

Your running a graphics chip on the MB, are you running updated drivers for it?
What operating system and SP are you running?
What version of HDMI does the TV support?
What Version HDMI cable are you using to connect the two?

Really odd resolution. For 720P, it should be 1280x720. Does the TV have another connections like VGA or DVI? Maybe it is an issue with the HDMI.

I've had similar problems. I have my pc hooked up to a sony flat panel at 1920x1080. If I set the color depth to 32 bit...it doesn't work, but if i "downgrade" to 16 bit...it seems to work...not sure why that is. You may try this solution. I'm going to try to tech support to see if there is a way to fix it so that it work at 32 bit. odd.
