I created a production in VideoWave 9 and reviewd it. It looked great. I imported the Videowave production to MyDVD (I didn’t go directly to the DVD program (DVD Express) from VideoWave because I wanted to add chapters, etc). I created the DVD I wanted and previewed it and everything looked fine (music added, transitions, titles). After I burned the DVD and played it, the audio was out of sync with the video! I don’t understand why the review in VideoWave and the preview in MyDVD looked fineand the actual DVD had this problem. I tried the process two ways; 1) Create an ISO file and burn the DVD from that file and 2) burned the DVD only. Either way, I got the same bad results. It appears MyDVD is sensitive to some combination of events that VideoWave 9 produced; however, I don’t have a clue of what that could be! ANY IDEAS?

What else do you have running while you are creating the Image file? Make sure you are disconnected from the INTERNET and have turned off all other running programs INCLUDING your anti-virus and your anti-malware. Make sure your hard drive is clean (get rid of the temp and TMP files and other garbage) and defrag your hard drive. If your computer has to search your hard drive for the video and the audio that are scattered all over the place, I wouldn't doubt that the disc would be bad.

Did you try playing the ISO file? You can mount a virtual drive and add the image file to play it.

Thanks for the input. Actually I found out that the software was functioning correctly and that the problem was with the DVD and my TV/DVD player. The DVD plays properly on all my PCs; however, the player connected to my TV (4:3) appears to be the culprit. I opened up another topic to the forum that addresses 16:9 conversion to 4:3 LB format.
