I just installed Roxio 2010 Pro. When I run the program, within a minute or so, I get an error stating that Windows encountered a problem and is shutting down the program. Following Windows Help and Support prompts, I am informed that Roxio 2010 may be a "harmful program" by attempting to run/execute code from system memory locations reserved for Windows. Data Execution Prevention (DEP) shuts down Roxio 2010 because it's using memory incorrectly.
I installed Roxio's SP1 update and got the same error. Anyone else get this error and if so, what have you done to correct it? Through Windows Help and Support, I have found that I do have the option to "turn off DEP for individual programs." Before I do this, I would like to explore other options of getting around this error.
Thanks for any help anyone can give me.

Turn off DEP!

Who informed you that DEP is harmful? I use the default DEP settings (on) and I don't have an issue with Creator 2010. You must have other issues.

What are your system specifications and what operating system are you using?
