Hi All -
Please forgive the "101" question but I am new to Roxio products. I am using Roxio Creator 2010 Pro.
My application is to take 16x9 aspect Tiff photos (1920x1080 and up) and to create HD (1920x1080) slide shows for viewing on Blu-ray disks or directly through the HDMI interface on my TV. With Video Wave I use Roxio's AutoMotion fusion and the SLow Dissolve transition features on all of the slide shows I create.
The queston I have: Is what is the best (in terms of quality, I'm not concerned about disk space) file format to Output\Export As... these slide shows in?
I see High Definition\MPeg-2 High Definition 1080p, High Definition\Blu Ray AVC HQ and Blu-Ray Authoring\Blu-ray HQ as possible options but I can't tell which one is the best (or if it is any of these).
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Why export anything???
Save in VW and use the dmsm project file in MyDVD and save all that rendering.
Sometime there is a purpose in Export As… Since you can't burn BD, I would stick to HD mpeg2 so you don't incur loses from rending from one format into another, and still another when you burn.

Is HD mpeg2 is the format used to create a Blu-ray 1080p disk?
Compliant rendering is done at the time of Burn, not before it...
However it is the same basic Quality up to 1920 X 1080.
There is a difference in Frames per Second – 29.97 mpeg vs 24 fps in BD.
And the encoder rate – 28mbps for mpeg vs 30 mbps for BD.
Info seems to only be flowing one way here, if you want sensible answers, clearly state your desired outcome.
