Is Dvdit Pro Hd Ver 6.4 compatible with windows 7, as each time I try to encode, the applications stops and closes. Can anyone help.\regards

I haven't seen a Roxio ad, a KB article, or any thread in this forum to indicate that DVDit Pro HD is supported in Windows 7. Here is the Roxio web ad for the software.
I can report that my Version 6.4 DVDitProHD installed and runs under 64-bit W7 without any drama or problems. Furthermore, the encoding process runs noticably faster but that may be more due to the i7 975 3.3GHZ and 6GB 1333 DDR3 memory upgrade than the 64bit improvement.

For me with 64 bites system work fine! But if don't work good you have the compatibility with XP service pack 2 or 3...

I was on XP since March 07 and recently rebuilt as Win7 Prof - 64bit. My old version 6.30 built 91A app loads and allows creating menus, importing video and does an appropriate "simulate". When I go to "build and ISO", it throws up the transcode panel, the screen goes pale and Windows reports it has stopped and will shut down. I can't find any error log. ... Any suggestions?? Go buy the update???

Look to my indication. For me woks very good. it's was not neccesary to use compatibility. I have a Thompson GrassValley workstation. I can say you that many features in Windows 7 are unable like Media Center and other also in Advanced Options. Indeed there are many features who are unnecesary and create problems with video software. I have Edius % and others software from GrassValley and others.

Well, it certainly doesnt run on my system. On reflection, I only used the product in 2007 because Adobe Encore CS2 did not support BluRay. Well, now I have CS4 and Encore works fine, so I guess its is good bye for DVDitPro HD. SSScott and all you folks have been a great help, but time and software march on and tools must change.
