Full Version: 10.0.4 Issue

I installed 10.0.4 yesterday and encountered repeated spinning wheels, then crashes, whenever I clicked on the Video tab. Other tabs seemed fine but I just couldn't get to the Video tab.

I ended up replacing the prefs file with one from a backup and launching 10.0.2 again, which worked fine on all tabs.

This morning, I thought I'd try an experiment and launched 10.0.2. Before quitting the program, I left it on the Video tab (hoping Toast would re-launch to the same setting). Then I launched 10.0.4 and got the Video tab. I was able to select other tabs and get back to the Video tab.

Soon, I"ll try to burn a disk from a TS folder on my hard drive.

Anyone else encounter this?

I'm on a 1.25 GHz PowerBook with 1 G RAM, running OS X 10.5.8.

What version of Quicktime do you have? The specs say a minimum of 7.x is required. Perhaps the specs for Toast 10.0.4 are slightly different than 10.0.2?

There are some bugs with 10.0.4. If you don't have Snow Leopard stay with !0.0.2. If you do have Snow Leopard you may need to use 10.0.4 to Save as Disc Image and 10.0.2 to burn the disc. Things with Toast have gotten messy with the introduction of Snow Leopard.

I'm running 7.6.4 so I believe that should be okay.

Since I'm on 10.5.8, I guess I'll just run with 10.0.2 for now.
