Hi,
I can't seem to get anyone from roxio to online chat as they are always busy, so I thought someone may have seen this before and/or have an answer.

I have both popcorn and toast 7 installed and can't copy a DVD or CD from images or the discs. I get an error to the effect that I have insufficient access priveleges result code =-54.

FYI....the discs are unencrypted (homemade) or CD's that are copyrighted. Used to work a few weeks ago.

TIA,
Shaun

Bumping this to see if anyone knows the answer to this, having similar issues. Have to do a "Save to Disk Image" as a work around. Very annoying.

Thx,

I got a Error message Can't complete command because of Mac OS error -50. It was a Toast message since it had the Toast Icon on it.
I traced the problem to updating to Quicktime 7.1.1 from 7.1. Error messages went away when I reinstalled the older/compatible Toast 7.02 and Quicktime 7.04 version. See my post.

Did you update any Applications like Quicktime or Toast?

Haven't updated in a while. I have 7.1 running right now (I was going to update to 7.1.1) Quicktime and 7.02 Toast. Is this something Roxio will fix in a later update?
