Hi i had toast 7 burning video dvd's fine e.g converting .avi files...then all of a sudden toast comes up with the following message...."Could not record disk because you dont have the requierd acess permissions
" result code = -5000

can anybody tell me what is wrong ? thanks in advance.

Go to the Toast preferences and check the converted items location. Make sure that you have the correct permissions for the location specified there. If all else fails, change the location specified in the toast preferences to your desktop (because I am sure you have permissions for that). Let us know if you still have problems after trying that.

pls help i m having the same problem...there isnt anything when i go to the Toast preference,there isnt anything for me to select?do I need to reinstall the Toast software again?
