I am having difficulty burning my Videowave project to DVD. About a minute into the rendering process I get an error message that states "An error has occured during the rendering process" and then it stops burning. I was also wondering if the program normally runs slow when you get into the 600 to 700 picture project range. It takes a very long time to boot up. And then when I playback my project it sometimes skips picture effects and does not transition the pictures or vieo very smoothly. It also sometimes unexpectedly shuts down and I lose all my unsaved info. Oh and saving can take up to 5 minutes.
You may also be stressing out your computer. Please post your computer specs and how much free space you ave on your hard drive where you have the program and the images. A good way to post your computer specs is to edit your signature to include the information. Use Belarc Adviser if you are not sure and post the type of information that is in one of the guru's signature. Use my controls at the top of the page to do this. Ir will always be there when you post.
I think at least part of your problem is your computer. Make sure that you are malware free and that you have lots of free and defragged space on your hard drive.
What type of images are they (format). It is possible that there is an error in your project; a bad image, image duration, music cut, transition, transition duration, etc.
Try using VideoWave to output your production to "mpg-2 for DVD best quality." Create the file but watch the time. It the encoding stops, note the time. Go back to your production and see what is going on at that time. You may be able to find the culprit. Since MyDVD hangs quickly, it may be something near the start of your project.
