Full Version: Spin Doctor on Toast 7.1 - won't save changes on Intel Mac

Just installed the update on Toast 7.1 which makes the software Universal for Macs: i.e. compatible with Intel Macs. (The previous version, Toast 7.0, I couldn't get the music to play in Spin Doctor once the waveform was created, so I couldn't define the tracks). Now I can define the tracks and also get the tracks to play, but when I try to save the changes, the dialog box says they're saved but instead they revert to the original waveform - losing my changes includind defined tracks and track names etc). Has Roxio failed to make the Universal upgrade properly compatible (I'm running OS 10.4.7 on a MacBook Pro) or is there a way to work around this, or a patch out there which fixes it? Help! I've been wainting for this Universal upgrade for months now and it's very frustrating to find it doesn't work as it should.

That shouldn't be happening. If you choose Save or Save As... after marking and naming your tracks they should appear that way when you reopen that saved file. Trash the com.roxio.deepseasoftware.CDSpinDoctor.plist file in your User>Library>Preferences folder and see if that fixes the problem.

Thanks Tsantee - have now tried that (trashing the com.roxio.deepseasoftware.CDSpinDoctor.plist file from my User/Library/Preferences - but my Spin Doctor is still not saving changes, even when I specificaly Save rather than just Quitting and then choosing the Save option. What else can I try? Is everyone else's Universal upgrade to Spin Doctor 7.1 working fine on their Intel macs?
