Full Version: How do I lock, align, or anchor audio in a production

I'm using videowave, I have a mini slide show I'm making, and for several of the slides
I have some very small sound effect wave files I want to play aligned to the slides.
I've currently added the wave files to the music track, and in timeline mode I'm able
to position them close to where I want. There is nothing else on the music track
besides a dozen or so of these small sound bites. All is ok so far.

The problem I'm having is how do I lock, or align, or anchor (I'm not sure of the
corrrect terminology to use), the audio to its slide such that when I make changes
to other parts of the production (like add a new slide, or change the duration of a slide,
or change a transition etc...). How do I make it so it doesn't adjust my entire music
track such that nothing is matched up anymore? Can I somehow tag each particular
audio clip is anchored or aligned against a specific slide or clip?

Thanks for any tips

Place the audio on one of the internal tracks. To get the internal tracks, double click on the slide and you then add the audio to one of the available audio tracks. The audio will apply only to that slide and mpve with the slide if you were to reposition it.

Wow, thanks I would have never found that. I knew I must have
been missing something easy. Many thanks!
