Full Version: Can I just install BUMP?

Is it possible just to install BackUpMyPC from the the EMC 8 disc? I just bought a new PC which came with non-Roxio burning software which I wish to try for a while before I decide whether or not to install EMC 8. But I would like to use BackUpMyPC. The other suite's backup software is inferior.
Not sure about this but if you do a custom install you can try and disable everything but BUMP.If it won't let you just cancel the install.

BUMP is not a selectable option as it was in 7.5

The only thing I can suggest you try is create a new CD with the base original install CD members like setup.exe etc and the BUMP directory on it. I have tried just using what is in the BUMP directory and it will not install. It needs the original setup.exe.
