Hi,
I am running a 20" iMac (duo core) with 1.5 gig of ram. I am using Popcorn 2 to convert a DVD so I can watch it on my PSP. The problem I have is the lip sync is OK at the start of the film but by the time you reach the end is very much out - anyone had this problem and found a solution to it please??

many thanks in advance

Try copying the Video_TS folder from the DVD to your hard drive first, then use the folder as your source to convert to PSP.

Indeed, I just purchased PopCorn 2 and copies an unprotected Video_TS folder to my hard drive. I tried RIPPING with "MPEG-4" as device to Movies folder. And the 1:26 video started out with good sync, but the sync got RIDICULOUSLY bad. And the source WAS on a hard drive. And the Mac is a dual 2GHZ G5 with 2 GB of RAM so it's got some chops. I think Popcorn would be GREAT if (and only IF) it worked, but without a resolution to this problem it is 100% useless. So, please, please Roxio.... what is this audio sync slipping problem and how is it fixed? Oh, my OS is 10.4.7 and Quicktime is 7.1.3

Hi, Thanks for the reply.

I am copying the DVD Video_TS(main film) file to the hard drive and working with that file as a source rather than the DVD itself. The lip sync wanders out - it does it both when working from the DVD and also when working from the Video_TS file on the HDD.

I would love to use Popcorn 2 as my PSP converter but I am afraid I am in agreement with Eric ZORK Alan that until this hole is plugged then it is pretty much useless.

Can you please suggest any fixes or work arounds??

Many thanks

Does this only happen after you copy the file to the PSP after it is converted? What if you convert the file and then test the playback on the mac?
