  1. It's a Dell Laptop Latitude D830 - that's as close of an answer as I can get you on the "connection from computer to monitor" question. I've tried multiple standard movies that you buy at Walmart or other stores. It identifies the movie but won't play it.
  2. I want to watch dvd's on my laptop but when they load in windows media player I get the error "Windows Media Player cannot play this DVD because there is a problem with digital copy protection between your DVD drive, decoder, and video card. Try installing an updated driver for your video card." So I googled what that meant and one thing suggested I get the CinePlayer® DVD Decoder Pack for Windows XP. So I pay for and successfully download the decoder pack put my movie in the laptop and continue to get the same error message.
  3. I succesfully downloaded CinePlayer® DVD Decoder Pack for Windows XP and yet I still can't watch a movie on my laptop. what am i doing wrong?
