  1. Worst product ever! Crashed 10 minutes into the capture - every time. Tried it again in a lower quality and was able to get all the way through a 2 hour home video only to get an error message "capture failed." After many attempts and getting NO help from Roxio support, I took the piece of crap back to the store and advised store management to do a google search and find all of the complaintes about this useless software - then remove it from their shelves to save future customers from losing precious hours trying to do something that will not work anyway. I'll never buy another Roxio product again. I found Elgato VHS to DVD and it worked amazingly well.

    Keeps Crashing

    I am also having the issue of constant crashing. I am using Mac OS 10.8 with Intel dual core processor. If I run it on high quality, it crashes in less than 10 minutes. If I run it on medium, it'll go for a while longer. However, I don't get any picture in the playback window so all it's recording is a green screen with no sound. I'm still trying to troubleshoot that one too. So far I've gotten NO help from Roxio support. What a major waste of money and time.
