  1. JPEG clarity in Roxio NXT Pro6 VideoWave

I'm not sure how to make a high definition video. Can you point me in the right direction? Also I did create an ISO file, but it was also very blurry. I'm not familar with a virtual drive?
  2. JPEG clarity in Roxio NXT Pro6 VideoWave

I'm using Roxio Creator NXT Pro 6 per the screen shot below. I don't have a sharing site to download a copy of this photo and I received a failed message if I try to attach it below. Can I send it to you via email?
  3. When I insert a JPEG file I created into VideoWave the file gets blurry and is not nearly as sharp as when I view the same file in Window Photo Viewer or any other photo viewing software. Is there a preferred setting/file type or file size I should be using? Below is an example using the same JPEG. The first photo is what it looks like in VideoWave and the second photo in Window Photo Viewer. I have tried different files sizes (from 96 KB to 9,233 KB) and different file types (JPEG, TIFF, BMP) but nothing seems to work. Any suggestions to correct this problem?
  4. Formating Slideshows For Dvd And/or Blu-Ray Burn

Any recommendations for the other two questions I asked about? Once I create the DVD can I add a photo into the film strip window instead of the slideshow? I was able to do this in the previous Roxio Pro 10 product, but when I add a photo into this new NXT Pro 4 version the background area changes instead of the film strip area. Even changing the title is difficult. I can move the title, but cannot edit the name. Lastly, under the help pull-down i can only see " Purchase Blu-Ray" and "Restore Purchase" so its sounds like I need to purchase the plug in to burn a Blu-Ray (which I thought I purchase back in May). Is there a way of checking if this was purchased before? Can I use the "Restore purchase" pull-down? If not then you mention that if it's not installed find your download of the BluRay plugin and reinstall it. I'm not sure where to look for the plugin on my computer to reinstall it. Can you help?
  5. Formating Slideshows For Dvd And/or Blu-Ray Burn

Thanks for the directions to render the slideshow so that it is compatible for MyDVD. What format is the best to select under "Video file quality" when I want to view this DVD on my 55" LCD TV? Once I create the DVD can I add a photo into the film strip window instead of the slideshow? I was able to do this in the previous Roxio Pro 10 product, but when I add a photo into this new NXT Pro 4 version the background area changes instead of the film strip area. Even changing the title is difficult. I can move the title, but cannot edit the name. Lastly, under the help pull-down i can only see " Purchase Blu-Ray" and "Restore Purchase" so its sounds like I need to purchase the plug in to burn a Blu-Ray (which I thought I purchase back in May). 6. I have used Roxio products for years creating slideshows and DVDs, but last year when I changed from Windows 8 to Windows 10 I purchased the new NXT Pro 4. Now I am having trouble creating a Blu-ray or a DVD from a Roxio VideoWave slideshow that I just completed? I created a Blu-ray DVD last May, but for some reason I cannot create a new Blu-ray DVD today. I’m having two issues: 1. When I open Roxio MyDVD I cannot click on the “Blu-ray” icon because it isn’t highlighted. Last May when burning a vacation Blu-ray disk it worked, but for some reason I cannot click on this icon today? 2. When I open Roxio MyDVD and click on the “DVD” icon it creates a new file name and opens MyDVD. I cannot insert the slideshow into Roxio MyDVD, since nothing is viewable in the project folder (wrong format?). I don’t know why this is happening or if there another way to create the DVD? In the previous versions of MyDVD I just navigated to the “Add New Movie” tab and inserted my “DMSM” slideshow. As I stated above I am using Windows 10 and with the NXT Pro 4.
  7. Dmsm Files Not Viewable

Roxio 2010 does work in Windows 8 because i used it over this past summer without any problems. As for the "?" marks they appear for all 200 transactions. I do not get the typical photos showing what the transactions look like I just a "?" for all of them instead. When I preview the slideshow the transactions work, but in the storyline mode all of the transactions are shown as a "?".
  8. Dmsm Files Not Viewable

Instead of recreating the entire video can I just revert back to window 8 and use the Roxio 2010 version?
  9. Dmsm Files Not Viewable

It would have been nice to know that they have changed the myDVD program before I purchased this product! all previous versions worked the same. So i guess i need to start from scratch and create a new project. when i do this i still do not see any transition images, just blank boxes with a question marks ("?") instead of an image. is something not installed correctly (i've only installed it three times so far)? Thanks
  10. Dmsm Files Not Viewable

I've been a long time Roxio user and have upgraded to NXT Pro 4 becasue I was told my older Roxio product (2010) isn't supported by Windows 10. When trying to create a DVD from a saved slideshow (DMSM format) I proceed to the create DVD button, MyDVD opens but I cannot select any DMSM files, just AVI or WAV files. The older Roxio software would be able to select the DMSM file and create the DVD. What am I doing wrong? Can anyone help????
  11. I have no transitions when I start a new project (and yes i have inserted a couple of photos first). The transition selections just show up as a "?" with no picture of what they are. I have uninstalled and reinstalled NXT two times but nothing changes. Any suggestions?
  12. I did finish the project in 2010 first, but as i stated in the original thread the production runs fine for all of the jpg files, but it freezes (sometimes) at the movie files (WMV or MOV). So i was told that i needed to upgrade to Creator NXT4 and when I did the original production didn't work. I have also noticed that I do not have any transitions even if i start a new project in Creator NXT4. any suggestions?
  13. I just updated to the Creator NXT Pro 4 because I was told that Windows 10 will not work with my previous version Roxio 2010. When i went to use the new version on the project i just finished in 2010 none of the transitions or text work! Is this typical for the latest software?
  14. I created a Videowave production using Roxio Creator 2010 Pro on Windows 10. The production runs fine for all of the jpg files, but it freezes (sometimes) at the movie files (WMV or MOV). Any suggestions to fix this problem?
