Some Jpgs From Samsung S7 Won't Load

Hi Brandon & thanks for your reply. Ironically my wife & I just returned from a two week drive vacation in your country on the South Island beginning and ending in Christchurch. While there we took more than 2000 JPG pictures on a combination of Panasonic Lumix and Samsung S7 phone/camera. We downloaded and combined all pictures from both devices onto a single Windows 10 PC into a standard folder without making any changes. Beautiful as NZ is, we knew that nobody would sit through a 2000 picture slideshow! So, we managed to select the 350 best pictures and copied them to a separate folder. In that separate folder I renamed each picture (file) so that they would follow standard alpha/numeric rules and present in the order of our visit. When I imported that folder (350 best pictures) into Photoshow Express, the pictures were in what seemed like random order. In addition some pictures were upside down and some were sideways. I'm afraid I am a novice and I don't know how to post on the drives you suggest. As for other programs in Create NXT5, yes I do have some problems but they are different. Using Create Slideshow, the pictures import in the correct order and all are correctly upright. However, some JPG's from my windows files won't load into Create Slideshow. On the select screen they show up as a red circle with a diagonal line and on the create screen they show up as a "?". When viewing these pictures in Windows 10 they are OK and contain all meta data. These are not the same pictures that are troubling in Photoshow Express.

    Creating A Slideshow

I am returning to Creator after some absence (Creator 9). I would like to create a slide-show in MyDVD then finish it using Videowave. Is this possible?

    Can't Install Video Capture Usb

I must have been one of the first to buy this USB device and receive the wrong driver cd. After talking to Digital River and receiving the correct drivers I have been successful copying my old tapes. Yes, I am happy with the device and once installed it is easy to use with Creator 9. At the risk of the ire of some of the Roxio apologists on this site, I still have a problem with the lack of documentation from Roxio and their premature release of product! Oh, I have since received a second device and CD.
  7. OK Could you tell me how I can capture the vhs video so that it would be more representative of what I see on the TV and not be so dark?
  8. Touchy, touchy. Several years ago I purchased Creator 8 for the sole purpose of creating a dvd slide show from the more than 3000 slides I have scanned into my computer. It was a desaster. The program was buggy and so bad that Roxio replaced it with a huge patch. There also the manual was almost useless in that a novice like me couldn't make a slideshow. Thanks to a couple helpful people in this forum I managed to cobble together a sideshow from a trip with my grandson. However the experience was so bad that I romoved the program and haven't gone back to my slides since. Currently I have a bunch of vhs tapes that I want to convert to DVD. I purshed 2009 and Video Capture USB for this sole purpose. For the reasons stated, this wasn't a good experience either. So if this is my reason for purchase and this is my experiences why would I "Try some other sources"? Instead of putting me down, why don't you answer the one question I had if there is an answer and you know it or you can even point to the answer in the manual or help section. If you can't I guess my conclusions are correct. They released the product before it was ready!
  9. What must be typical of Roxio, I believe that this simple product was rushed to market. - They shipped the wrong drivers. This is apparently being corrected on a individual basis but at the customers inconvenience. - They included the wrong instruction card in the package. They have posted a correction in the KB - If there is any documentation on how to use this device or how it fits in with 2009, I haven't been able to find it. I have managed to capture one vhs tape but hesitate to go further. The captured video very different than what is seen on the TV. Is almost too dark to see. If anybody knows how to correct this I believt the device is OK. Why couldn't they have just taken a few more days to get it right!
  10. First of all, you can't tell the difference between a good disc and a bad disc, they are look identical. To answer your second question, the bad disc contains only one file. The good disc contains several files. however they are all quite small and should be easily downloaded or at least they should ship the correct disc via overnight delivery rather than make you wait another 7-10 days for delivery! Further, I don't understand Roxio's reluctance to make this problem and solution a sticky note on this forum and providing the drivers for download!

    Video Capture Usb

Thanks. this was posted several days after I questioned Roxio support. This was only one of several problems. They were also shipping a disk that contained the wrong driver. The CD's looked identical but one was for an old device.
  12. I just purchased one of the new Roxio Video Capture USB devices. The instructions say that there should be two DVD's enclosed in the package. I only received the one with the drivers. Does anyone know if there is such a thing as "Roxio Creator 2009 (special Edition)?
  13. I just installed 2009 and a new Roxio Video Capture USB. The video is dark and the audio is clipped. Where would I find directions regarding the options settings?

    Can't Install Video Capture Usb

I had the same problem. Apparently Digital River, the company handling orders for Roxio was shipping the wrong CD containing old drivers. After receiving the correct driver the device installed OK However, I just logged in to inquire about an audio problem or other instructions regarding the use of this device. I am having a problem with audio but I will start a new thread.
