    Length Of Time

QUOTE (sherlock @ Oct 9 2008, 10:02 AM) * Not each slide, but the total time of the show after I have created it. I am trying to put together several photo shows and have a 12 minute total time limit. thanks Are you using v5 or 6? As Beerman says, in version 6 you can not adjust duration of stills, in V5 you can and to get the right length of project you would just have to do a little math and set the duration of each picture and estimate the time that the opening title and ending credits take. -------------------- Patty Has photoshow v 6 come out ? and how do you download it , since i am a recent v5 owner. photoshow 6 would be free wouldn't it ? Cheers Derek

Yes i can change the tv aspect to 4.3 but then you have 2 black borders down the side, and as you know when you increase to 16.9 the photo becomes squat . When you go to the MAKE tab in photoshow it shows the" DVD and CD Rom" a widescreen tv with 2 boys in it ? Surely i have got the wrong set up loaded, Thanks for any input Derek mellow.gif Go to the top of the page Edit Post+Quote Post V Full Edit V Quick Edit David de Roxio View Member Profile Add as Friend Send Message Find Member's Topics Find Member's Posts post Jun 16 2008, 07:43 AM Post #2 Digital Master Group Icon Group: Moderator - Roxio Posts: 595 Joined: 20-May 08 Member No.: 45,054 QUOTE (derek.nz @ Jun 16 2008, 02:05 AM) * Is there anyway that photoshow5 can set the aspect size when burning a dvd to work on a widescreen 16.9 tv. Many HD TVs place black bars on the sides of a 4:3 image to avoid distortion. In general, PhotoShows are designed to be displayed in a 4:3 frame online, in the program and on DVD. All well and good, but with HD tvs pretty much a universal standard now, you would think Roxio could do a quick patch and at least give us the option of burning to a 16:9 format so that pictures and videos are not distorted so much, and at least fill the screen of a widescreen tv without black bars. I am not sure you can even still buy 4:3 screens any more, and if you can, you soon wont be able to. Give us 16:9 support Roxio! Also, is 'the future' likely to be the near future or just sometime in the future? Previewing Show And Music

I know, this really makes the project a LONG process, what i,m going to try is to make a lot of small slideshows, save them as wmv then burn them in Nero with a menu so you can watch them as single shows or when you watch at the start all the shows should play back to back . If not paper ,pen and stopwatch argh !!! Hope this helps Derek
  11. When i first found photoshow 5 i was browsing through lots of slideshow software sites, then i tried Nero Photo Show deluxe 5, @ http://www.photoshow.com/home/ , i uploaded a few photos and tried as we do as many different ,themes, styles, transitions etc .Lots of great stuff here, Stack of televisions, Creepy, Photo collection, Congratulations, Party etc. So happy with the results i bought the software. My question is what happened to these ones ? can i download them elsewhere. I enjoy your software BUT i seem to be missing something here. Thanks Derek
