jonatsonic then his short time replacement Jason@Corel couldn't/didn't get it fixed after things broke sometime in March!

To access Roxio you need a username and password, now if you want to contact support you use your Roxio username and password to sign in to Roxio, click on support and need to sign in to Corel with a username and pin.

My question, that's alot of hoops, username, and password/pins to remember just to visit/sign in to Roxio/Corel site!

Daithi pointed out new boss new rules and I understand that but Sonic and Rovi didn't make it such a pain in the arse to access the support site for the product the folks bought named Roxio.

This has turned into a bastard child and no one wants to deal with it. People pay for a Premium Membership and it should work for them. Any chance in getting to someone who can get it fixed?

For Mother's Day, my son created a beautiful Photo Show for me using Photo Show v6. I have Photo Show v5 on my computer and have been unable to get the photo show to download. I've turned off my firewall, turned off my anti-virus program, and put photoshow.com as a trusted site. I still can't get it to download. The error is 1001. Can ANYONE tell me what to do. I want it on my desktop. Is there a way to save it so I can view it elsewhere, i.e. my iphone, etc?

I conducted environmental psychology dissertation with micro-video and edited recording of hikers with Dell's Roxio VideoWave. It was unusual at the time, being DVD on CD format. Now I've got the CDs -- they are bound with my dissertation -- but obviously must convert into something that can be viewed today. And preferably to format that can be uploaded into Youtube or the like. Any suggestions would be welcome!! When I loaded into my IE9 it said WindowsMedia cannot read, and nothing at all happened.

To start off sorry if this has been posted before i had a look but i could not find this problem
i have the roxio game capture and "Roxio Easy Media Creator 10 LJ" installed with it but when i start it up or try and open an ISO image file i get the problem shown in the attachment i have tried running the program compatibility mode but it did not work any help would be appreciated

I have a Sony vaio E series system model VPCEB1E0E Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
processor is an intel i3 m330 2.13GHz
direct x version 11
my display is
intel graphics media accelerator displaying at 1366 x 768 (32 bit) 59Hz)
if anyone is going to answer this but needs more info let me know

I suugested that posting that was not acceptable. I did not say anyhting about the OP's desire to make copies. If he asked, he could have been recommended and used Roxio for non DRM discs.

I could use some help for my easy cd & dvd burning in the red box also but mine is for windows xp,vista and windows 2000 but same red box. I am running windows xp. When it goes to activation I get the warning that the following codec mpeg-2 must be activated before using the application.When it tries to connect to the roxio servers it come3s back as Unsuccessful Activation Invalid Product Key. I tried to get the 25 digit info also suggested from ? but it will not show any numbers. I am frustrated because Roxio- Corel does not support this program any longer and just wants me to buy new software. I want to just get this software working. Any help would be appreciated. THX

PLDS DVD + RW DH-16AAS ATA Device is gone from my "Computer". Is listed in Programs. Last used around April 22nd. Tried to update driver online: "Windows cannot start this hardware device because its configuration info in registry is incomplete or damaged (Code 19)" Tried to update driver in my computer, Roxio PX Help: Windows found driver software but error while attempting to install.

I have a Dell Optiplex 360 bought in 2009. Running Windows Vista 32-bit Home Version

Tried to download a patch: dell101 patch: software not found; Dell EMC 10.1 could not be located. Reinstall Dell EMC 10.1 and run patch again.

Not sure where to go now because it is listed in my programs, just not in Computer. DVD player will not run. Tried several discs...
If it is in my registry I do not know how to get there or if I should...
Any help will be most appreciated.

I have a Dell laptop with what appears to be Roxio driver for the cd burner. The burn feature no longer works and I have tried everything on the Microsoft troubleshooting site. Can someone direct me to the appropriate place here for help with this? Just to be clear, I do not have a stand alone program installed for burning. This is whatever Dell installed originally on the computer.

Not unless it has changed recently. You can even upload videos by going to the top menu, selecting products, then PhotoShow (don't worry about the rest of the title) and open that. Try uisng that version to put the vidoe into a PhotoShow.

Memory is so cheap now that I want to install 6 additional G to the 6 I alreay have. I can order the same memory I now have - 3 sticks of 2 G each. ($13 .stick) I want to go to 12 G just because I can !

Any pitfalls that I should know about?

You got this "Power calibration area error - Medium error "[03/73/03]."

You are using poor quality media or your burner is about to crap out.

1) Gte some good quality new Verbatim discs.
2) If that doesn't work, you burner is about shot. You might try a DVD cleaning disc but I would not hold out much hope.

Hi Folks,

If Windows can see your drive but your Roxio program can't, try the PX Engine update available from Sonic here (click link).

The updater you get from that page can be used to reinstall your burning engine if it is run with a switch. Here's how to do it:-

-download PX Engine 4.18.16a from the link halfway down the page at that link
-this should get you a ZIP file called pxengine4_18_16a.zip - please save it somewhere on your hard drive
-UNZIP that file, and dump the contents into your C:\Windows folder. It should be a file called pxengine4_18_16a.exe
-now click the Windows Start button and RUN the following command
pxengine4_18_16a.exe /pxhelponvista and click Enter
[you can cut and paste the command from here if it's easier than typing it manually]
-The PX installer box should open. Follow the prompts to install the PX engine, and then restart Windows.

If all has gone well, your Roxio programs should now see your drives
