  1. Hi I have a huge problem for me with RGC which is the quality of preview is horrible when console is set on 576p, 720p or 1080i. First of all I didn't expected amazing full hd crystal clear quality but what I get is so weird it's like my PS3 cables are really bad but when I try them on tv it looks crystal clear even though those are cheap cables and it looks on tv great in 720p and 1080i. I tried with official software with SP2 and SP1 separately I also tried it with AmaRecTV and it also looks bad. I tried with AVI with Divx and I was playing around with video settings. The wierd part is it looks great in 576i or standard PAL as it says and it's fine but I already have EzCap with S-video at that's why I bought Roxio GameCap because a lot of games aren't properely displayed in standard PAL so it's like squished or they don't work in 16:9 so what I wanted is just excatly same quality as S-video but the console would be running in 720p that's it but it looks so bad I attatched some picture last one is in default settings. I can assure that there is nothing wrong with my PC specs: Intel Core i5 480M 2,67 GHz Nvidia Geforce GT540m 1GB 3 GB of RAM Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 64 Bit Than I tried reinstalling and installing software but that didn't helped I tried plugging cables from Component video in to component video out but that's didn't helped I know that there is an issue with Audio cables so I unplugged them and ghosting partially dissapeared but it still looks horrible my setup is that I only have it connected on USB and cables are only from console I don't have TV in my room so I want to play them on PC same way as I played on EzCap but I can't because of the quality There is ghosting it looks fuzzy it's just so bad and I don't know what to do because I bought it used there is no warranty and I just have no money to buy expensive component cables just to test if that would help which I doubt here is recording example in Avi https://www.youtube....h?v=wKj69MlUyvc and here is another with DivX https://www.youtube....h?v=QKYMwFZd4PQ I don't know what to expect maybe I'm missing something maybe there are some improved drivers I really don't know but please help me
  2. I have the latest update, but I still cannot get 1080p with the Xbox One. This is only when the roxio is connected. I can pass the signal directly to my tv or through an hdmi hub and still get 1080p. However, when I pass through the roxio the signal is 720p. My xbox 360 will pass through and record 1080p with the roxio connected. Is the roxio incapable of providing 1080p when connected to an Xbox One? I don't mind being limited to recording in 720p, but I would like to play in 1080p while I record.
  3. 720P Turns Into 480P While Capturing

Long time problem that I've always wanted to ask is why when I'm recording in 720p the recording will suddenly turn into 480p mid capture and from there on that recoding will be in 480p. I can tell when this happens sometimes because the capture device will lose signal with the recording software and my tv screen will go black for a couple seconds before regaining signal. Other times I am unsure why it switched to 480p, although I've noticed it usually occurs when I have been recording for a long time. Any tip or advice? Thanks
  4. I find that sometimes (I'm not sure if it's something I do that causes this to happen or what) when I start the capture software, it will be set to record in 480p instead of the HD 720p I set it at. This gets rather frustrating when I don't remember to check to make sure every time I start the program that it's set to HD 720p and find out later all the files are in 480p. Any idea what causes this? Thanks.
  5. Can I Record In Hd Without An Hd Tv?!

Hey everyone I was looking to get a Roxio Game Capture HD PRO, but when I looked into it a bit it seems that it requires an HD TV to record in HD. I have an older TV so I am not sure if I can. I thought a little bit and came up with an idea to get this HDMI to RCA compnent AV cable. I attached a picture of what it looks like so you may have a better idea of what I mean. I was thinking of putting the HDMI into the Roxio and putting the component (red, yellow, white) into my tv. Then of course I would put the rest of it together like it normally would be. I wasn't sure if this would work so I could record in HD. If not would I be able to crop it in 16:9 (or whatever the right size for a youtube video would be) Could anyone please let me know? That would be great! Thanks!
  6. Laggy Video

I had just bought a new Roxio HD PVR. I thought the quality would look nice with 720p when I recorded. When I actually edited the video in Videowave, it was laggy and choppy. It would hang every 5 seconds and you can occasionally see rainbow lines sometimes. I'm not a techy geek or someone that doesn't know where the escape key is, but I want to know how to fix this problem. My PC Specs aren't that great but it would be above the minimum requirements. PC SPECS: Procesor: AmD Turon 64 X2 Mobile Technology TL-60 2.00 Ghz Ram: 3.00 GB PC Name: Satellite L305D OP: 32 bit. P.S. Maybe this will help or not but the bitrate in the settings is 15000
  7. When I switch to 720 it defaults to 1500 kbps, but when I try to change the bitrate to anything higher or anything lower it jumps to 7500 kbps and the only way for me to change it back from 7500 kbps is by changing from 720p to a different resolution and then back to 720p.
