  1. I recently installed the VHS to DVD product I've had sitting around for what is likely a couple of years, and captured my first couple of videos from tape. The basic program was generally fine, but I was prompted to upgrade to take advantage of new features. It was only $20 so I went ahead and did so. Now, and only after the upgrade, I realize the original version and '3 plus', capture the video in different formats. The original files were captured as avi video clips, while the new ones are Mpegs, and I can't find a way to open the old avi files to work with in the new version. Am I missing something, or did they actually make an 'upgrade' that isn't compatible with video captured with their older products? Thanks, LKStL
