    Nxt4 Transitions

Hi, I upgraded from NXT(1) to NXT4 some time ago and have just attempted to use transitions other than the standard "Reveals". I was astonished to find that many of those I used in NXT and earlier (at least back to Creator 10) are not there. There are none in categories "Page Turns", "3-D", and "Distort". I get the message "There are no items to show in this view". Can anyone throw any light on this? Is this another example of "dumbing-down" by Roxio/Corel or is it a problem my end? I've asked Roxio/Corel but as expected - No reply!! (I am already using Creator 10 (EMC10) in parallel with NXT4 to make use of the original (far superior) version of MyDVD. So far this has worked perfectly under Windows 10. Maybe I should revert entirely to EMC10 and forget NXT!!) Thanks in anticipation. David

    Subtitles?

I have not, so far, been able to find a way to include subtitles in a project. Am I missing something?
  3. I have been using Videowave to create video on Roxio NXT4. I have put together Video Track using numerous video clips. I have also added am audio track. The video clips all have sound. I don't want to mute the sound which I believe I could do by putting in the video as an extra layer rather than video track layer. I want audio track to be main sound but with background sound from video track. (The video track is composed of sports clips with background crowd noise reactions and the audio track is motivational song). Can anyone help.
  4. I have created a slideshow in Videowave but when I send to MyDVD the program will not allow me to choose "Create new disk". If I try, it looks for a path from a previous production. This path has now been deleted, along with the production which was originally in that path. At this point, MyDVD reports "can't find" and closes down. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Roxio NXT4 complete, I have switched off all overheads including anti virus and anti malware, I have run a registry cleaner, but the program still keeps looking for the obsolete file path and then closing down. All CD functions, and the DVD from ISO function work fine. The computer is a Core 2 Duo laptop, running at 2.2Ghz, in 3Gb RAM and with over 300Gb available on the hard disk. It's currently running Win 7 32 bit. MyDVD works fine on my wife's i3 machine with 8Gb RAM and Win 10 64 bit. I can't find a preferences setting which would allow me to set a new default path. Can anyone please suggest how I can tell MyDVD to stop looking for a file path that doesn't exist?

    Menus In Mydvd In Nxt4

Hi, I have decided to start a new topic for what could be quite a few queries on MyDVD in NXT4 in addition to those I have covered regarding burning and text editing in a previous thread. I have been spending a lot of time playing with MyDVD and, although I have spent over 11 years using earlier versions I am struggling to make sense of this Mickey Mouse version. I sincerely hope I'm missing something and that there is someone out there who can put me straight. So, my first query is - how do I play all my videos via a menu? I have a project with say 2 videos - the Root Menu shows a link for each. However, when I play the first video it does not go on to play the second. In previous versions you could specify which video played next and I usually arranged that all videos would play in order after playing the first. Quite a basic requirement!! What am I missing? Hope you can help.
  6. I have tried to install NXT4 twice on a machine with Windows 10 Professional. Each time the boot failed (Missing Boot Path) after the requested reboot. The first time I had to reload an Acronis backup when all other ways to recover failed. The second time a system restore did fix things somewhat: It did manage to boot, and one extra re-boot was required to finish the NXT2 uninstall (The restore had restored this SW). What to do? Ask for a refund? Clearly this software will not install properly.
  7. I have just installed Creator NXT4 on a Windows 10 Pro 64 bit machine. After I record sound from an LP or tape and try to create the track breaks and clean the clicks and pops, upon saving the project after making any changes to the .wav file, the program crashes. I have contacted Support, but the only solution proffered so far was to uninstall NXT4, make sure all relevant folders were either deleted or marked .old and re-install. I have done this twice now, with no change in the results. When recording LP's it also does not detect the track breaks, even though that option is selected. My previous version of Creator (12) did detect track breaks and did allow me to edit and clean with no problems saving the projects. Has anyone any idea what is going on? My system is: Intel Core i7-3930K CPU (6-cores, 3.2GHz) 32 GB of RAM Windows 10 Pro 64 bit NVIDIA GeForce GTX 770 Cideo Card 2-Samsung SSD 840 Pro Solid State Drives, one is the system disc 2-Seagate ST3000DM001 3-TB conventional hard drives Dual LED monitor display ASUS P9X79 Pro motherboard
  8. I'm having no luck burning a DVD with no menu. Previous versions had a Burn DVD - No Menu option. I'm not finding it in the latest version. Build 1.0.1.11.
  9. I just purchased NXT4 and while attempting to install it hangs calculating required space. I am not sure what the issue is, but the install windows doesn't seem to be displaying correctly. I am unable to click on any of the buttons displayed and the only option is to close the window from the task bar. PC Specs Quad Core 3.4Ghz Intel 3770 16GB Mem Windows 10 Pro 64 Bit GeForce GTX 750 Ti 2GB 128-Bit Not sure where to go from here....
