  1. Hello! I've been using Roxio for many years, and just purchased NXT5 a few days ago. I created a Videowave project using .MOV files, and when I tried to export the project (in several different formats), they all had the same issue - the audio didn't sync with some of the shorter video clips in my project - it was delayed. The playback, however, on the preview screen in the Videowave project editor has perfect audio. Any ideas? Thank you, Dominique.
  2. Using Video Wave I have imported a video file in avi format. It plays fine in Video Wave. However, I then try to Output the file as a mpg or another format and the resulting files plays but the audio stops after about 2.5 minutes. The video is fine but the audio just cuts out. I have tried two different output formats with no success. This is Creator NXT 4 on a Windows 10 PC. Does anyone have an idea as to what is causing this? I even tried NXT 2 and it does the same thing.
  3. Output Files // Editing

    Hi, I've been using the Roxio Game Capture HD PRO since March and I think it's fantastic however I've been hitting problems with the output files and editing. My issue is, whenever I edit with Videowave, it takes an long time to do the simplest of tasks and makes it unbearable. Especially when it crashes. So I've been trying to edit in Sony Vegas as I normally do but recently when I import my .m2ts files, it will never import the whole file. And also as the audio doesn't import either, I have to extract it from the file using Videowave. A way around this I've found is to put the output file as MP4 but the capture program always crashes when I've finished recording a file. Sorry if this isn't very specific on what I need help on but can anyone suggest anything for me to be able to edit these videos a lot less painfully? Thanks!
  4. I have churned through most of this discussion board, without much success. I have seen the issue of “wrong pitch” mentioned briefly in one other post, I can't find that one now. If the moderator sees this post as a dupe, s/he is free to move it or spitcan it as needed. By “wrong pitch,” I mean the frequency of the audio heard—music in the wrong key, children sound like adults, women sound like men, and men sound like Lurch. The audio speed was unchanged, although a second or two out of synch. New install of Easy VHS to DVD 3 Plus, to a fairly new Win7 PC, 64-bit. My project was to convert home video shot on a Sony Hi8 Handycam to DVD. Software install was no problem, physical connections were a breeze. But the first time I played a video to it, the problem was obvious. This was not an issue with the videotape source—I can monitor the audio with headphones plugged into the camera, and anyway, videotape audio doesn't work like audio tape as far as tape speed goes—also, the video was unaffected. Seems to me the post I saw questioned the throughput of the PC, warned about excessive CPU usage as a possible culprit, but once again I don't think this should affect the audio's frequency. Digital, y'know. But I remembered that when I first connected the USB, it took a moment for Windoze to load the USB drivers. I clicked the balloon that popped up during the install, and saw it was searching Microsoft for the drivers. I remembered thinking it should have used Roxio drivers, but it was finished before I could make a move. But with the audio anomaly, I looked again. I opened the Device Manager (Control Panel → Hardware and Sound → Device Manager [under Devices and Printers]). I clicked the triangle next to Universal Serial Bus controllers to see the list of all the USB installations. I found several entries titled “USB Composite Device,” so I had to search through each one. I right-clicked and chose “Properties,” and clicked the “Details” tab. “Property” had a list of about 25 named attributes, one of which was “Install Date.” I knew when I had done the installation, so after awhile I knew I had the right one. So: Backed out of the Properties box, right-clicked, and chose “Uninstall.” OK, restarted the PC with the Roxio USB unplugged. With the PC powered up, I again plugged in the USB, saw the balloon pop up from the system tray, and “Click[ed] here for status.” This time I clicked the link saying “Skip obtaining driver software from Windows Update.” Once again, it finished too quickly for me to be able to tell where it was getting its drivers, but now the “Driver Software Installation” box identified it as a Roxio device. Success! Now the audio plays perfectly—no delay, good sound quality, boys sound like boys, girls like girls. Hope this helps someone.
  5. When exporting output from Creator NXT 2, clicking the Create Video File button results in a pop-up box with the message "ERROR Unable to build render graph". I can't output any work from NXT2. Creator 2011 worked just fine with the same .mpg files. Any answers?
  6. Ps2 - Dark Image

    Ok so when I have a 'Roxio Game capture HD pro' and I have some Playstation component cables. http://goo.gl/JeibS7 - the cables I use My PS3 setup is as follows: Playstation 3 --> Component cables (input) --> Roxio --> HDMI (output) --> HDMI switch box (output) --> Monitor/TV My PS2 setup is: Playstation 2 --> Component cables (input) --> Roxio --> Component cables (output) --> TV With the PS2 setup the image comes out very dark (image attached). I have also attempted to output in HDMI which does not output a dark image but a box appears in the middle of the screen (also attached as an image). If I connect the PS2 directly to the TV through component it works with full colour, and I can also output my PS3 through component (through the Roxio device) and have no problems it is only when I attempt to output the PS2 does it go dark. Notes: In the Roxio software the PS2 image comes out in full colour. I have also tried it without the switch box but i get the same result (box appears). I have also tried to try HDMI --> TV, but i get a purple image. I have also tried to fix the image using my TVs setting but I can't fix it.
  7. Playing Ps1 Games On Ps2 - No Tv Output.

    Yo yo, I've been using the HD Pro for a while now for the PS3, PS2 and it's working like an absloute charm.. until I tried a PS1 game in the PS2 today. I bought a used PS2 since my old one wouldn't read the discs and I wanted to go back in time. THE PROBLEM: Now the PS2 works with the game cap using component cables, it's absolutey fine in doing so. Today I've tried to play a PS1 game on the PS2 and record it with the Gamecap but for some reason, the moment the PS1 logo on the tv vanishes the screen flickers a few times then just goes blue. The Gamecap software plays preview audio and displays the PS1 footage fine, it even records it and produces useable files for editing but for some reason there is no TV output going on at all. I restarted the console and the TV output started working again all the way until the PS1 logo faded out, flicekred a few times then there was nothing being displayed on the TV and the software continued to work just fine. What on earth could be causing that? I can't think for the life of me why the software would work 100% with the footage but the hardware seems to stop giving me an output. I'm currently using a component in - HDMI out and I've had no problems until now. Any ideas?
  8. Setup Using Hdmi->Dvi-D

    Hi there! Problem: Roxio records fine onto Laptop and picture displays in HD, but no signal to monitor to display video, even with manual monitor input selection (it also has VGA input) My connectors are as follows: XBOX 360 HDMI Out -> HDMI Roxio HD Capture Pro IN ->HDMI Out -> Apple Branded HDMI to DVI-D (Dual Link) Adaptor -> DVI-D (Single Link) cable -> Samsung 2232bw Monitor DVI IN. + USB Roxio -> USB Vista Laptop Extra Info: -My Xbox works fine connecting the monitor via the DVI HDMI adaptor setup directly without the Roxio -Video output fine using another display when DVI adaptor not in use with direct HDMI output (with and without Roxio) I know this makes it seem like the Roxio will not work with a DVI adaptor, but this post seemed to suggest otherwise, I just couldn't work out how to do it! http://forums.support.roxio.com/topic/83745-hdmi-input-to-hdmi-output-to-hdmi-dvi-cord-for-pc-streaming/ Thanks for your help, Max
  9. I made a slide show in Videowave with pics and (HD) video. I've tried a couple different rendering formats and a few of them look great on Windows Medica Player. However, when I pull them into MyDVD, the DVDs are not as clear. For example - even if I render at SP quality which creates a 5 gig file, when I put it into MyDVD, it shrinks the file to 2 gigs and appears to reduce the quality. Are there any ways around this?
  10. Hdmi Output Is Not Working

    Hello. I got my new Roxio Game Capture HD Pro in today. I was pretty stoked to try it out. Got it unboxed, installed the software on the CD, plugged in the console to the HDMI-In, plugged my TV to the HDMI out, and plugged the box itself into my USB Port. Now, here's the catch. The HDMI-In appears to work fine. I can see my game console on the preview window in all its glory... The problem is that there is absolutely no output to the TV. If I unplug the RGC and try either of the HDMI cables directly to my game console, it works like a charm with my TV (as I would expect). I've tried this with both my Xbox 360 and Wii U, and as I've said, both could capture fine, but I'm getting absolutely no output to my TV, and that's a big deal. There's some pretty ridiculous lag going through the USB port, so the TV is a must Any ideas/suggestions? Is the HDMI-out port probably bad on this unit and I just need to get another one?
