Snow Leopard And Toast 10 Problem

I use Spin Doctor in Toast 10. Ever since I upgraded to Snow Leopard, song tracks I have edited do NOT go over to iTunes correctly. Any ideas?
  2. Hi there! I have been using a DIGISTOR External Blu-ray burner (Model DIG-78112), available HERE (and I have an e-mail out to DIGISTOR tech support asking what model OEM drive is inside, but quite possibly the same Panisonic PAN-UJ-265SW that they offer as an internal solution HERE) for the most part successfully for the past 6 months, including around 70 successful burns using DIGISTOR 50gb dual layer Blu-ray media, available HERE, at a not-so-impressive (but 100% guaranteed with FREE replacement) 80-85% success rate. The reason for my post is that my 15-20% failed burn rate has escalated dramatically to staggering 100% over my past 7 consecutive attempts. I have been in contact with DIGISTOR tech support, and while they have been extraordinarily responsive and helpful…at this point in time I feel like I am hardly any closer to a resolution than when I started nearly a week ago. Here are some of my particulars: I am running a MacOS 10.6.8 Snow Leopard on a MacBook Pro "Core i7" 2.2 17" Early 2011 (specs available HERE). I am using the "Data (Mac & PC)" setting in Toast 11.1 (1072), with "Disc View" set to Columns, and "Write Speed" set to 8x BD My external Blu-ray Recorder is showing up as "Matshita BD-MLT UJ265" in Toast and is attached via USB 2.0 I have diligently followed the advice of DIGISTOR tech support, including using a single USB 2.0 data cable connected directly to one of my MBP's 3 USB ports and wall adapter power supply (as opposed to using either the supplied dual USB 2.0 data and power cables OR just the single data cable and the drive's built-in rechargeable battery) to address any potential power supply issue…AND adjusting my Toast 11 "Write Speed" setting to 2x BD. After 5 consecutive coasters doing it my way, I netted two more failed burns using BOTH of the suggested changes (and the last 2 of which also came from a separate batch of blank discs). While clearly NOT at a 100% success rate, I had a more-or-less working situation prior to these past 7 burn attempts. I am baffled at what has changed to affect this rash of failures…and I am hoping to find a working solution to get me past this immediate situation, and perhaps to an improved overall success rate. If it could mean a more stable environment, I have immediate access and am amiable to reverting to Toast 11.0.4 (710)…Toast 10…and/or Toast 9. With some searching I have seen several suggestions to create a disc image prior to burning, but because my settings do NOT include any conversion of media files AND are rather large in size, I am really hoping to find some possible solution(s). Thank you SO MUCH for your time in reading, and for your suggestions! -A.S.

    Drive Error

I have Popcorn 2 (2.0.2). I'm running it on a MacBook Pro with Mac OSX 10.6.8. (Snow Leaopard). Every time I attempt to burn a DVD, whether the source is from an actual DVD, a disc image, or Video_TS folder it always fails. A window pops up that says the following: The drive reported and error: Sense Key = ABORTED COMMAND Sense Code = 0x4E OVERLAPPED COMMANDS ATTEMPTED Can anyone please help me resolve this issue? Regards, Kevin
  4. Every time I try to drag the m4a files for an album I recently purchased from iTunes into Toast 7 Titanium (burning as Audio CD), it crashes with the following: Process: Toast Titanium [255] Path: gs: 0x00000037 cr2: 0x096acff8 As you can see, I am running Snow Leopard (on a Mac Pro 2.66 with 8GB RAM). I tried dragging just one of the songs into Toast and it was fine. As soon as I dragged over a second one it, it crashed. This only happens if I have Audio CD format selected. If MP3 Disc format is selected, it is fine and I have burnt a cd. However, the cd player in my car doesn't play mp3's (yes, it's older), so I need an Audio CD. Using the Add function I'm not able to even load one of the songs from this album. It should also be noted that this happens only with this one album. All others work fine. I just tried another experiment, where I loaded one song from the album, then several songs from a different playlist. This worked without issue. However, as soon as I tried dragging another song from the album in, Toast crashed. Can anyone offer a solution as to how I can over come this problem and burn an Audio CD of the album? Your help is greatly appreciated.
