  1. Okay, gonna be honest, haven't messed with this thing in years and saw the update (SP3 with pretty much no update notes with it). I decided i wanted to plug it in and see how my new pc works. I have a ROG swift 27'' 4k 60hz monitor, and a 27'' Asus 1080p 60hz monitor. When i place the capture window (where you can press start captures, live stream, start pre-roll...etc) on my 4k monitor, it will show the full capture from my xbox one. If i place it on my second monitor... the screen cuts off on the capture window (black area where capture usually is). I tried to set the 1080 as my primary and got no change, only using the 4k monitor gives me the full screen but I do not want the window on my 4k monitor, i want it on my 1080p monitor. If i click the 'full screen' button the capture window full screen actually moves to my 4k monitor (not what i want). and not only that, it's still not full screen. So to summarize, even simpler terms. 4k monitor and 1080p monitor in dual monitor setup, roxio software works and shows fine on the 4k, but as soon as it's moved to the 1080p monitor the capture source cuts off inside the capture window (there's a screenshot attached for reference). This unfortunately seems like something a roxio developer would need to repair with a patch as I've already tried multiple things to make it display properly. Running program as admin, changing the main monitor from 4k to 1080p, trying full screen, restarting computer, re-installing software (even though it was a clean install in the first place). I am aware there are community members on this forum asking rather unimportant questions... so please don't ask stupid questions or you will get the best answer i can think up. PC Specs (because people may not understand that 4k is better than 720 for some reason) i7-4790k 4.0Ghz cpu 980ti gpu (updated drivers and checked) 32GB ram Windows 10 professional 64-bit if you honestly need anymore than that you should probably let someone else try and help. everything needed is in this post for this specific problem. However, If more info is needed, feel free to ask for it. DO NOT POST if you are not intending to help solve the problem.

  3. Roxio Not Recording? Cannot Connect

Hi, i have recently come across a problem with my Roxio Game Cap HD Pro. The problem is it will not, No matter what software i use, It does not seem to work, it will read that my roxio is there i click on it to record with my roxio and it gets no signal, or on VirtualDub it says, "virtualdub cannot connect to the desired capture driver. PLEASE HELP!!
  4. My Roxio Is Broken

Then could you please help me with MY Roxio HD Pro Problems? I've literally used this thing ONCE in the past two years for one reason, MY DEVICE HAS NEVER WORKED!!! I've contacted Roxio CONSTANTLY, about 2 or 3 times a month to get a refund because they sold me a BROKEN product, and I haven't gotten a single response from them, in TWO YEARS!!! It's crashed every computer I've used it on, the device barely turns on before it crashes whatever computer I'm using it on. I paid GOOD money for this two years ago, and I'm so glad that you guys enforce your "Refund Policy" so well, because I would've really like to return mine and gotten a new one. Honestly, two years ago I bought air that was packaged in a container, and have tried to get in contact with you guys for a return, but whenever I did, you'd give me the same "We're really busy at the moment" response. This is not a good way to run a buisness, I didn't even get a refund DURING the 30 day period because you DIDN'T LET ME! Now I'm saying this again, and you will apologize and say "Well you didn't take advantage of the refund during the 30 days" well guess what, I DID, so I want my money back, and that's why I'm here today, to try ONCE AGAIN to get my money back that you stole from me. Don't even TRY to tell me how to fix it, because the thing never worked in the first place, it was broken right after I recorded my first 30 second long video. Wow, 30 seconds for $150, what a deal.
  5. Honestly I would of thought better than this company saying they have a fantastic gaming capture this company are very lazy when it comes to fixing there own products literally have spent 3 months on trying to find out a way to stream this without the delay at all and picture on pc and tv are the same but delays. now before you say yeah it an be fix it cant because if I set the web cam or mic the same when I jump into a game... it delays the mic and game play I've spent the last 3 months trying to get this to work and there's no way in hell. I thrown mine away because i'm that anger with this so I hope I get banned and I don't care about the comments I hope these guys will get off there butt and do something to help other people...
  6. No Preview On Software Or On Tv

So I got the Roxio Game Capture HD Pro for Christmas and was pretty stoked to record on my Xbox One. But I've set it all up, software and hardware, and the 'no signal' is in red which means it recognizes the hardware but is getting no signal. But after trawling the internet, I can't find anyone with the same problem. I've tried other HDMI leads, the lot. Also, when I started to wiggle the HDMI IN on the Roxio, I noticed the image changing, and when I pushed it in harder, the image became stronger, although not 100%. I've tried uninstalling the software, and I think it keeps pointing towards a hardware malfunction.
  7. "no Input" Problem

I'm trying to capture footage on my PC using my Roxio. It's worked just fine for a long time and it's suddenly not working... well, it's working in the sense that the signal from the HDMI cords goes from the computer tower, through the Roxio capture device, and to my monitor just fine, but the program itself just says "No Signal" which makes absolutely no sense at all. I'm not trying to capture footage of a console, I'm trying to capture footage of my computer games, it's worked just fine up till now. I've already tried repair several times, even with my anti-virus protection off, I assume the HDMI cables are just fine since the signal does go through to my monitor, the Roxio itself doesn't seem damaged and this was all worked just fine the other day, what happened? Here are my computer specs: Operating System: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit (6.1, Build 7601) Service Pack 1 (7601.win7sp1_gdr.140303-2144) Language: English (Regional Setting: English) System Manufacturer: Gigabyte Technology Co., Ltd. I have the exact same problem where when I adjust the resolution bar and suddenly I get something, but it comes through all glitchy and broken. I have no idea what to do, please help me. http://forums.suppor...o-signal-issue/ Again, I'm trying to capture footage OF my computer, ON my computer, not a console.
  8. No Longer Working?!

Hi People, So Ive had my Roxio Gamecap HD Pro for about a year now, and had absolutely no problems what so ever!.. Until recently, Upon plugging my Roxio HD into my laptop, one of two things happen; 1) My laptop blue screens, and crashes.. or 2) I boot the Recording software perfectly fine, and load the Roxio, to where I get audio but just a blue screen. Note- Im using an Xbox 360 with the Component out. I have tried using the "Virtual Dub" as an alternative software, but to no avail. Any ideas/ help? Thanks, Matt.
  9. I have set up my game capture correctly, and I'm trying to record my 360 footage. When I record, the fps drops drastically, and there is a few seconds delay from when it happens on the xbox to on the computer. when I play it back, the visuals go at 20 times speed, but the audio plays only t about 1.5. Help?
  10. Hey, I had a roxio game capture pro witch i bought last year, when i came back a couple of weeks ago, the screen doesnt show up. 11. Hi, I started up my xbox and started up my laptop to broadcast a session of new vegas over twitch using xsplit but when I started up xsplit I found that my Roxio Game Capture is not working anymore, All I get is this: Any Ideas? or is it just broken and thats that? Jaywaka
  12. Right so I have had an overall decent experience with this device however I have ran into some problems recently. When recording black screen transitions (not sure if there is a technical term for this) the final recorded video file is a bit glitched from the fore mentioned transition onward. When importing into Roxio Videowave it comes up as a singular file in the timeline that is all messed up, problems include: > Delayed audio > Small video loops (only happens around the transition) > Clipped/Looped audio (only happens around the transition) > Stays on a blank screen for longer that it did at the time of recording No signs of these problems are present in the preview window on the software, and on further testing I have found that it only affects videos that are set to record >720p bit-rate doesn't seem to affect it nor does length of recording. Here is the bit that I find puzzling... Upon importing the same video file into CyberLink PowerDirector 12 it comes up as multiple files, most of which are the clipped/looped audio/video glitched bits that I mentioned previously as well as some one, two or three second silent video files that are just a black screen. The rest of these files are just the recordings from the point I clicked start capture up to the transitions (then all the glitched stuff is there) then every point after the transition (e.g the actual game-play) until the next transition. The audio is synced fine in these files its just really irritating to have to delete the parts that aren't supposed to be there. Does anyone else have this problem if so help would be appreciated. PC SPECS: TOSHIBA SATELLITE L850 CPU: Intel Core i7-3630QM @ 2.40GHz GPU: Nvidia GeForce 630M RAM: 16GB (15.89 Usable) OS: Microsoft Windows 8.1 64-bit
  13. Hello, So I just got a new PC and monitor and I Recorded one thing with the Roxio then it stopped working. The Roxio comes up but it has a red "No SIgnal" and when i go into options it just crashes. It worked fine with the last PC but i didn't use a monitor for it, I used a TV. I don't know if that has any effect. I repaired the software many times I even uninstalled the software including the hardware from the device manager. I've Tried 3 HDMI Cables and it still didn't work and they worked fine when I didn't switch other. Please help!
  14. Videowave Won't Open

Hi, I've used videowave for a couple of months now and it worked fine for a while. Now it won't open. Every time I click the Edit button, Windows says: "VideoWave has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available." I really want it to work. Can anyone help me? My laptop-> GPU: GeForce GT 650M, CPU: Intel® Core™ i7-3630QM CPU @ 2.40GHz, Memory: 7.86 GB, Current resolution: 1920 x 1080 (60Hz), Operating System: Microsoft Windows 8. Someone please help me.
  15. Hello, recently my Roxio Game Capture HD Pro recording software has malfunctioned and stopped working. When I launch the software via the launchpad, I try to select the capture option. The screen opens momentarily and then crashes immediately. I have read elsewhere on the forum that I would just need to re-install my software, but unfortunately, I seem to have misplaced my disk and box. I believe I have accidentally thrown the disk out along with the box because it is in a paper pocket and not an actual case. Therefore I would like the help of a Guru to pass this on to Roxio support because my Support Code has expired. I require a software installation download so I can re-install/repair the software already on my PC. To verify I own the device, I will send an image of it, along with my name on my Debit Card to verify that it is not an image taken from the internet, on request. (I don't want to post that sensitive information for anyone to see. On a side note, I find it disgraceful that we only receive a one time use support code and it has to be used within 14 days of registration. What if, like myself, we do not require support for the first 14 days? What if it is a couple of months before something happens and we require support, which we rightfully deserve, yet we are forced to pay an outrageous fee of $25 for, again, one time usage. Thankyou for your time and I would appreciate it if a Guru or Roxio support could help me out *Edit* I forgot to say, if it matters, that my product has been registered to my email address and I could send you the registration/product code if needed.
  16. Hdmi Output Is Not Working

Hello. I got my new Roxio Game Capture HD Pro in today. I was pretty stoked to try it out. Got it unboxed, installed the software on the CD, plugged in the console to the HDMI-In, plugged my TV to the HDMI out, and plugged the box itself into my USB Port. Now, here's the catch. The HDMI-In appears to work fine. I can see my game console on the preview window in all its glory... The problem is that there is absolutely no output to the TV. If I unplug the RGC and try either of the HDMI cables directly to my game console, it works like a charm with my TV (as I would expect). I've tried this with both my Xbox 360 and Wii U, and as I've said, both could capture fine, but I'm getting absolutely no output to my TV, and that's a big deal. There's some pretty ridiculous lag going through the USB port, so the TV is a must Any ideas/suggestions? Is the HDMI-out port probably bad on this unit and I just need to get another one?
  17. I was just using my game capture one day not too long ago, and something strange happened. Note that this was during Hurricane Sandy, and although I wasn't directly in the line of fire, I still got hit with more than my fair share of power outages. So the power dipped and then I tried to use my RGC, but it would just fallow the possess of the pictures below. Pleas help.
